Language of Us and Them – Seminar

Inspired by Mayer Shevin’s similarly titled poem, this session, presented by Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region, explores how to contribute to making everyone feel they belong as a valued citizen, with an emphasis on people with disabilities. Become more aware of how we regard each other, the power of stereotyping, and learn how to recognize and address barriers which can separate people and create situations of us and them.
FamilyHome, in concert with Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region, will be hosting this informative seminar at the Kitchener Public Library, Central Library.
Join us Wednesday May 11, 2016, from 7pm to 9pm for good discussion and light refreshments in Meeting Room A.
