Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region (EAFWR) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of its employees, volunteers, students, families and individuals for whom we provide service, as well as its Board members.  Personal information, including health information Is not used or disclosed other than for those purposes for which it is collected, without the consent of the individual or as required by law.

EAFWR has assigned an individual as the Privacy Officer and have privacy policies in place. If requested, EAFWR will make the policies that support our commitment to privacy readily available.

Online Privacy Policy




When you register for training, events, services, or use any form on our website, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our website, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about training, upcoming events, services or Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region relevant information.



How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a form, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
