I already have funding.

Fantastic! Once funding is approved, families have two options:

1.    To self-administer their funding through the Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS).

2.    To ask Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region (EAFWR)  to administer your contract.

Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region Support Coordinators will assist your family with your initial application for SSAH funding – even if you choose to self-administer your funding. If you choose to have EAFWR manage your contract, a Support Coordinator will help you develop a plan for your funding, by providing reimbursement to your family for approved expenses (i.e. respite, camp/recreational fees, etc.) from the SSAH contract, or finding Direct Support People to support your family.

To set up a time to chat with one of our Support Coordinators, please fill out the form to the right, and we will connect with you.
