Saturday Oct. 3rd, pick up a map/brochure at the Art District Gallery or at the Globe Studios and join us for a walking/driving tour of artist studios located in downtown Kitchener from 10-6pm. You will see a variety of types of artwork most of which are for sale. Enjoy a wonderful relaxing day as you visit the artists in any order along the route during this family friendly event. Oct. 4th Play with Clay returns – an open clay studio experience designed for families, friends and couples! Over two Sundays, you make an object out of clay and paint it with our glazes. It gets fired in the kiln and then you pick up your colourful and unique object. You’ll be amazed at what you can create! Two sessions to choose from each Sunday: 1:00-2:15 and 2:30-4:00 on a first-come, first-served basis. Only $10! theclayandglass

Beer + Dinosaurs October 28, 2015 Featuring Dustin Growick, AKA The Dinosaur Whisperer at THEMUSEUM! Dustin is the host of The Dinosaur Show on YouTube and has over 21 thousand followers on Instagram. Check him out online and then come for his talk and live-filming of an episode for his YouTube Channel. He’ll also be incorporating an interactive activity in Dinosaurs | The Edge of Extinction! Each ticket includes access to THEMUSEUM’s special exhibitions before the event begins, and 1 pint from Grand River Brewing.
