Emergency First Aid/CPR (Level C)

Emergency First Aid/CPR – Level C is an interactive training that provides a forum to problem solve and discuss specific First Aid/CPR issues you may be dealing with in your work. Key aspects of the training include: CPR skills (adult/child/infant), AED skills, obstructed airways, heart attack and stroke education, bleeding emergencies, EpiPen training, as well as managing burns and seizures.

This 8-hour training* is open to all community members and is mandatory for support people and staff who work in support capacities.

Trainers:

First Aid 4U –  Ontario’s largest Red Cross First Aid Training Provider, as well as a leader in First Aid Supplies and Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s)

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is geared towards an adult audience. It accommodates Direct Support People, employees in developmental services, families and adults living with a disability, and community members. This workshop is mandatory for Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region staff, facilitators and Direct Support People in a direct support capacity.
